frequently asked questions
We highly recommend to light the serum candle before a shower/bath, allowing you to envelope yourself in its scent first. Once out of the shower, extinguish the flame. When slightly cooled, pour the serum onto your palms and spread all over your body. The warmth from the shower opens your pores, allowing maximum moisture absorption and scent retention. Slather on if time-strapped or gently massage onto your skin for quality self-care.
Yes. Our serum candles are specially formulated for skin contact. They contain nourishing waxes, organic and cosmetic-grade plant butters and oils, combined with clean, cosmetic-grade fragrance oils that comply with international safety regulations (specifically IFRA- International Fragrance Association). This makes the melted serum safe, soothing, and luxurious for topical use.
For best results, light your candle for about 20-30 minutes or until a sufficient pool of melted wax forms. Extinguish the flame, then carefully dip your fingers or use a spatula to apply the warm serum onto your skin. Avoid burning the candle for extended periods without use to preserve fragrance and wax quality.
Our serum candles are crafted with high concentrations of natural butters and botanical oils, designed to melt into a luxurious, skin-loving massage serum. Because we do not use synthetic stabilizers or hardening agents, it is normal to see minor surface unevenness or the appearance of oil droplets, particularly in warmer environments or after the first few burns.
These characteristics are a natural result of our formula's richness and purity. To ensure an even melt and optimal performance, we recommend gently swirling the melted candle pool by slowly rotating the vessel on a flat, stable surface. This subtle motion helps redistribute the nourishing oils evenly without disturbing the wick or affecting the burn.
We use a careful selection of organic and cosmetic-grade plant butters and oils, including kokum butter, mango butter, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, apricot kernel oil, and babassu oil. This ensures high quality skin nourishment, and a clean, natural feel in every candle.
